---|---|---|
Onza | fl. oz / fluid ounce | 1 fl. oz = 29,5 ml |
Pinta | pt / pint | 1 pt = 473,17 ml |
Galón | gal / gallon | 1 gal = 3,78 l |
Barril | No ab. / barrel | 1 barril = 158,98 l |

Banana pancakes (Linda Sun)
Ingredients
-1/2 banana
-1 egg
-2 tbsp milk of choice
-1/4 cup oats or oat flour
-1 scoop protein powder of choice
-1 tsp baking powder
-1 tsp cinnamon
Fuente: Unsplash
Instructions
Making the Batter…
- In a blender, combine the banana, egg, and milk. By adding wet components first, we avoid the usual problem that frequently arises when using a relatively weak blender: dry items becoming trapped at the base of the blender and not blending with other ingredients. *
- Add the remaining dry ingredients, including the oats, protein powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add additional milk in 1 tablespoon increments as necessary. If there are a few little lumps, don’t worry! Linda does this using a blender, but hand mixing will lessen the possibility of overmixing, which leads to less airy pancakes.
- Optional: Allow the batter to sit for 10 minutes to allow the oats to hydrate. The secret to making fluffy, light pancakes is this! Why not cut up some fruit and get ahold of your nut butter?
Pancake frying…
- Cook in a skillet or frying pan with a little oil until golden brown on both sides over medium heat.
- A GENEROUS spoonful of crunchy peanut butter, bananas, berries, and maple syrup should be served with this dish!
Homemade granola (Love and lemons)
Ingredients
-2 cups whole rolled oats
-1/2 cup chopped walnuts, (or almonds, or a mix of both)
-1/2 cup coconut flakes, optional
-2 teaspoons cinnamon
-1/2 teaspoon sea salt
-2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
-1/4 cup maple syrup
-2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
-1/3 cup dried cranberries, optional
Fuente: Unsplash
Instructions
- Put a baking sheet in the oven and preheat it to 300 degrees.
- Oats, walnuts, coconut flakes, if used, cinnamon, and salt should all be combined in a medium bowl. Add the almond butter after adding the maple syrup and coconut oil. Stir everything together. Scoop the granola onto the baking sheet and shape it into an oval that is 1 inch thick. Clumps will form as a result.
- Use a fork to gently break the granola apart a little bit after baking for 15 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through. Cook for a further 15 minutes, or until golden brown. If desired, top with dried cranberries. Before serving, let sit for 15 minutes to cool.
Carrot cake (Inspired taste)
Ingredients
FOR CARROT CAKE
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 ¼ cups canola or other vegetable oil
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs, at room temperature
3 cups grated peeled carrots, 5 to 6 medium carrots
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins
FOR CREAMY FROSTING
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans, for topping cake

Instructions
- MAKE THE BATTER
A rack should be placed in the center of the oven. Two 9-inch round cake pans should be greased, with parchment paper placed on the bottom and the top greased. Alternately, butter and flour both pans’ bottoms and sides.
350 degrees Fahrenheit should be the oven’s setting (176C).
Mix in the cinnamon with a whisk, salt, baking soda, and flour in a medium basin until very well combined.
Whisk the oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla in a another dish.
One at a time, whisking after each addition of the egg.
Use a big rubber spatula instead. Clean the bowl’s sides and bottom, then add the dry ingredients in three portions. Gently whisk the batter until the dry ingredients are absorbed and it is smooth.
Add the raisins, nuts, and carrots by stirring.
- BAKE CAKE
The cake batter should be divided among the prepared cake pans.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean. The tops of the cake layers should be springy to the touch.
After 15 minutes of cooling in the pans, gently remove the cake layers and place them on cooling racks. Cool fully and then take off the parchment paper. If a cake layer appears to be adhering to the pan’s bottom, turn the pan upside down and let gravity take its course.
- TO FINISH
Using a hand-held mixer, beat the cream cheese in a big bowl for approximately a minute on medium speed to make it creamy.
A quarter cup at a time, beat in the powdered sugar until frothy.
Whipping cream should be added. For 2 to 3 minutes, or until the frosting is creamed and creamy, beat on medium speed. This frosting has a whipped cream-like consistency. Prior to frosting the cake, refrigerate covered.
Place the second cake layer on top of the first when the cake layers are entirely cold. Frost the top of one cake layer.
