I appreciate the course we had today. In the beginning, it's indeed challenging to understand the concepts of putting stress in syllables. However, thanks to Ailin, I have now learned how they work. I felt devastated when I learned that there's no rule to determine how to put the tilde in a specific position in Spanish; however, I still found it important to understand the changes in different syllables. Eventually, I realized that there's no cheat code in learning a new language by learning its grammar and patterns, unlike math and science, linguistics takes time to master. Also, I shouldn't let my emotions affect the atmosphere in the lessons. Feelings and thoughts are intangible signals in our minds, which shouldn't be taken as representing reality and facts. This is what I learned today.

I always feel like I have learned or remembered new vocabulary words after each class. You are super easy and I enjoy talking to you while practicing my Spanish at the same time. Excellent, excellent tutor and excellent class. Thank you for providing some structure for our class and giving me practice with the past tense in a casual format. Really enjoying.

ive learnt so much spanish over the last couple of months that ive been doing lessons with my teacher, she always makes sure my questions are asked and we do fun games that help me understand, i can already say a lot of sentences in spanish and its amazing!

Profesora Balery is an AMAZING teacher. She is so easy to talk to and she takes her time to ensure that you grasp the lesson. I felt comfortable taking what I have learned thus far when I went to her home country, Peru, on a month-long, solo, birthday trip in December 2025. THAT was one of the bests test that I could have ever had. It let me know that I chose the perfect teacher!

In the second half of 2025, I kind of decided to start learning Spanish, and I was really lucky to meet Jasmine on the platform. At first, I wasn’t used to not having a textbook, but after a while, I actually ended up loving this way of learning. Every class feels super productive, and the homework Jasmine gives always helps me review what we covered in the previous lesson. She also starts each class with some warm-up exercises to go over past material. I often forget vocabulary and sometimes make funny mistakes, but the class atmosphere is so relaxed and enjoyable that I always look forward to every 50-minute session. I am very happy that I started lessons with Ado. I had already begun studying at the A2 level, but I still had quite a few gaps from the basics. I was worried that going back to the fundamentals would be boring, but teacher Ado teaches new material while at the same time correcting old gaps.
