Da wei has great resources. I can ask about pronunciation. We practice lots of Chinese. I can learn more about Chinese culture and ask questions whilst we learn grammar and new vocab! I am really learning to recognise more characters too.

My initial request to spend about 10 minutes discussing culture was completely ignored; we never once talked about culture throughout the lessons. In every lesson, my sentences were constantly criticized and rejected, which gradually made me lose the desire to speak and killed my confidence. I have even started to dislike studying Chinese because of this.

What a lovely teacher is Ms Mao. She is amazing with kids and knows how to hold their attention even for very young g children. She has her ear bubbly personality and is very friendly! Highly recommend.

Teacher linda is kind and professional. she is very patient and when a topic gets difficult she doesn't mind going over the same thing again until you understand. Her classes are not heavily packed with a lot of themes so it makes it easier to learn and process the information.

After a long break from studying Chinese, it’s so good to practice my spoken Chinese with Teacher Dana because it’s like talking to an old friend. She’s very accomodating and patient when I could not find the words to convey my thought. She always wait for me to organize my thoughts and recall vocabularies. I appreciate that she writes down the sentences that we used so that I can see where I got it wrong for the times that I used incorrect grammar. Looking forward to more lessons with Teacher Dana. 😊
