This was the second lesson. Alexandre knew how to ask questions that encouraged me to speak more. I felt more comfortable sharing. I'm still struggling with the listening part and hope it will improve in a couple of months.

I am always happy to have French lessons with Samson! I can't believe that he is not as popular as he should have been! He makes his own materials and is so humorous and patient when teaching me. Most importantly. He is fluent in English and Mandarin, so there is no language barrier when learning French with him. All in all, I can't recommend Samson enough to everyone. He is absolutely the best teacher here.

Pronunciation coaching is precise, and feedback on homework is actionable. he adapts lessons to personal goals (travel, daily conversation, or exams). Fun classes, visible results. Detailed Review:
Learning French with Charliele has been both enjoyable and effective.
Pronunciation & Intonation: he breaks sounds down clearly (including nasal vowels and liaison) and provides targeted drills and model recordings.
Structured, Practical Lessons: Each class follows a solid flow—review, new content, situational dialogue, and wrap-up. Activities are directly useful in real life.

Thank you Camille, that was a great start for me; I felt very comfortable talking with you and I do find French to be quite an intimidating language so thank you for putting me at ease and giving me the chance to word vomit what I could. I also really liked the note system; I think that will work really well for me.

Q4. What's the right learning environment for me? Should I choose a French tutor who is a native speaker?
One of the best ways to learn French is to immerse yourself in an environment where you try to use only French.
However, if you do not currently have a solid base in spelling and/or vocabulary, we recommend you choose a bilingual tutor who speaks your target language and your native language, as you will likely have a better learning experience during your one-on-one private tutoring.
If you have a good range of vocabulary but lack the opportunity to practice, then we recommend you choose a native French tutor.
