I currently live in Rio. I have a great passion for teaching Portuguese and also introducing Brazilian culture. I believe that when learning a language, you are getting to know your own culture, history and society. So in my classes, I loved taking my students on a one-word or one-sentence trip. We walk together with social facts, tourist information and the realities of living in Brazil. Material / We use ''Talk... Read... Write... Portuguese'', the most popular book for foreigners Course Content / We practiced extensively during class to become familiar with words and grammar. And I offer essential explanations and tips for students to understand them better. After each class, we have homework. Supplement / I always recommend related songs, series and memes for students to get used to Brazilian speech and also to maintain interest. I work as a columnist for Taiwan's biggest magazine editor and have a ''Where is York ?” Facebook page to share my observations from Brazil. I have experience in having to learn several languages. So I know well that the process of learning, memorizing, practicing, applying, and even speaking the language needs to accompany a sense of accomplishment and I'm good at finding it with my students.
