The most important thing for me is to understand the interests and needs of the language learner well. I think it is more important to first understand for what purpose a student wants to learn Bangla, who he needs to talk to. When learning any new language, we emphasize on acquiring these four skills: speaking in that language, listening to and understanding in that language, writing in that language, and reading in that language. I always try to prepare lessons for my students in a very simple way so that they can learn the new language very easily.
