Meggin was enthusiastic, welcoming and easy to talk to. Despite it being an introductory lesson, she went beyond basic greetings and prepared vocabulary specific to my needs to use in her assessment of our level. Her approach works for my style of learning and my current needs, which are mainly communicative, but I am also confident that she would be able to adapt for someone who needs a more academic approach to learning structures. I will definitely be booking more lessons with her.

Today I learned some Afrikaans slang. I work with 7 native speakers and although I roughly understand when they don’t use slang it becomes quite difficult when they do. Michaela taught me some terminology to help me better understand them when they speak more casually.
